County, England, dated December 10, 1629, and proved May 10, 1630.)

In the name of God Amen. I Ann Towne of Braceby in ye Countie of Lincoln
widdowe sicke in bodye but whole & pfect of mind &memorye thanks bee unto God doe make this my last will &Testamt in manner and forme followynge. first I commits my selfe to the mercy of Allmightie god my Creator redemer & soule savioure in & by whome I hoope for resurrection to eternal! life & my bodye to be buried in ye meane time in ye Chapell of Bracebie aforesaid. Item. I give to ye poore of Bracebie fyve shillings. Item. I give to my sonne Edward Towne one silver salte pcell gilte, one peece of gold of x js one pe of lyninge
sheets. Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Phillip xxs & one linninge
bordcloth. Item I give to my daughter Hellen Oxman one linninge bordcloth &xxs to buye her a feather bead ticke & one kertle. Item I give to my daughter
Prudence Walton xxs and one linninge bordcloth. Item I give to my daughter Ann Armestone xxs the best Coveringe but one, one sheete wth a black seameinge, one longe bordcloth, two pillowe beares of ye same one pe of harden sheets, one pe of curtens. Item I give my daughter Katherine Towne one beadstead wth feather bed & matris one turlinge boulster, one tycke boulster, two fustine pillowes, one pe of blancketts wth broad yellowe lists, twoe Coverings, one blacke and yellowe, ye othr the best, one pe curtens of my own makings, one lunen handclothe .... ...brended Cowe, three pe hempen sheets, three pe Lynen sheets, one sheet wth a seaminge of owne makinge, twoe pillowe beares of ye same, halfe a dozen of hemp midlaie napkins, one little putor dishe, one brasse pane, one charger, halfe a dozen of pewter spoones, one lynen towell & xxs in monye. Item I give to my daughter Mary Towne one matteress, one ticke boulster, one bedstead, twoe tartlinge pillowes, twoe coverings one blacke and white, the othr white, one pe of tartling blancketts, two pe of hempen sheets, one pe of Lynen sheets, one pe of harden sheets, one lynen towell, halfe a dozen napkins, one pyde Cowe, one Charger one little pewter dishe, one sauser, one brasse pott and xxs in money. Item I give to my daughter Margery Towne one silke apron. Item I give to my grandchild Ellen Towne one Ewe. Item I give to every godchild xijd. Item I give to everye grandchild ijs vjd. Ite. I give to my grandchild Katheren Phillip one pe hempen sheets. Ite. I give to my sonne Edwards children Twoe sheepe. Ite. I give to my daughter Elizabeth her children Twoe sheepe. Ite. I give to my daughter Ellen her children Twoe sheepe. Ite. I give to my daughter Prudence her children Twoe sheepe. Ite. I give to my sister Ellen Parker one silke doublet. Ite. I give to my grandchild Leonard Towne one cheste standing at ye beads feete in the chamber. Ite. I give to Richard Chopman ijs vjd. All the rest of my goods & Chattles my debts &legacies beinge payed my funeral! & testamt expenses discharged I give to my sonne William Towne, my sonne whom I make & ordayne full executor of this my last will &testamt. In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand the xth daye of December, 1629.
