Ken,
How great to hear from you. All I know is what Lee told me. Bob and Joyce were
divorced before he died. The circumstances around Bob's death were suspicious.
Probably had something to do with military intelligence work they think he was
involved in. But Lee's dad, Porter, could find out nothing from the state
department. Bob was a genius in the field of radio electronics--made the highest
score ever made on tests in that field. I think, as skilled as he was in his field,
he was as unskilled in interpersonal things and only cared about the radios, etc. So
the divorce was possibly not a happy one for Joyce. Lee said that when Bob was
overseas, he would go a year or so at a time with no contact with his family. So we
have a family mystery and you sound like just the person to investigate. It would be
pretty interesting to learn what really happened--however there were no children from
Bob's marriage and he now has no relatives except my two kids, who are his niece and
nephew, but of course he was dead long before they were born. Wish I could tell you
more. Keep up the interesting work. My two children's emails are:

Ken,
Thanks so much for sending the email to Leah and Adam. I hope you hear from
both of them. One thing--I always thought Lee said Bob (his brother) had his
radio shop in Rome, Italy. Did you get the Rhone, Italy location from a
document? Just wondered.
