Was christened August 15, 1620 in Nayland, Suffolk, England69, and died March 20, 1686/87 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts69.  He married MARY69 Abt. 164369.  She d. 1658. Occupation: physican69. When about 15 years old was brought to New England by his father in 1635, and for the next few years doubtless lived with him in Watertown and in Cambridge where he was living when admitted freeman May 10, 1643.  In 1645 he was granted three and a half acres west of Menotomye River, and received fifty acres in the Shawshine (Billerica) division of June 9, 1652.  His homestead in Cambridge was on the northend of Dunster and Mount Auburn Streets, which place he sold on November 23, 1657 to Samuel Andrews, after his removal to Boston.  He became a "chirurgeon", probably practicing both as a physician and surgeon, and remained in Cambridge until about 1656 whenhe removed to Boston, where he resided over thirty years until his death March 20, 1687 as is noted in the diary of Judge Samuel Sewall.  (Gregory Stone Genealogy - Bartlett)

December 29, 1662; Dr. Stonne, allowed 14. for administering physick and chirurgery to Goodman Fauor at Rumney Marsh. (TR 7:12). October 26, 1668; Dr. Daniel Stone, fined for entertaining John Hunt and his wife. (TR 7:44). January 29, 1671; Dr. Daniel Stone, to be paid 20 shillings for next 12 months for taking care of the poor of the town as to physicke and chirurgery and to be rate free. Abstract of the will of Daniel Stone.  Dated December 6, 1686.  To my three daughters, Mary Walker, Sarah Edwards, and Abigail Keech, all real and personal estate they to be executrices and to pay my debts and legacies.  To my grandson Daniel Edwards 30 pounds to encourage him to learning for the ministry.  To Mary Sherman and to Thomas, William, Hannah, Daniel and Abigail Walker, 20 s each.  To John Edwards and Abigail Keech 40s each.  To kinswoman Sarah Fitch 40s besides her wages. My friends Mr. Adam Winthrop, Mr. John Clarke, and Timothy Prout to be overseers.  Witnesses: Daniel Turrell, Francis Hudson.  Proved July 6, 1687.  Inventory taken December 15, 1687, mentions household goods, clothes, and money 105-9-5 pounds; homestead, warehouses, and wharves 330 pounds; a fourth part of the vessel Sarah ? Abigail 50 pounds; medicines and drugs in shop 34-2-7 pounds; other items 25-13-6 pounds; total 545-5-6 pounds.  (Suffolk Co.
