Docket 11054: Plymouth County Probate for Asa HUNT

Vol 13 pg 37: LDS film #0551540: inventory dated 2 May 1752 and
done by Jonathan Peterson, Joshua Brewster, and Israel Silvester.
Administered 4 May 1752 by John HUNT.

Total Pounds 285.6.5 and consisted of: apperel, books, arms, and
amunition, househole, food, and farming tools, Park at Duxborough,
Gundelow & Cote, a third part of a sloop, live stock, real estate.

Vol 14 pg 88: LDS film #0551542: adm acct of Asa HUNT dated 24 Jul
1756. Sloop sold for less than it was appraised, ditto in a
Gundelow. Monies pd the Coroners jury of Inquest and ye whole
funeral charge. Many people paid monies and named in
papers...including George PARTRIDGE. An allowance to the widow for
providing and supporting 3 of the deceased children.

Vol 19 pg 348, 349: LDS film #0550711: decree of estate of Asa HUNT
dated 22 May 1766. Asa HUNT of Duxbury died intestate. Real estate
with buildings thereon cannot admit of division to and among his
children without great prejudice. Appraised at 39 pounds, 6
shillings and 8 pence.

Lidia RIPLEY wife of William RIPLEY (daughter of Asa) consents to
pay other children their parts of appraisal. Saving Sarah HUNT -
widow her right of dower.
The paying to her brothers & sisters viz. Lemuel, Ziba, Honour, &
Sarah (that is to say) to Lemuel the eldest son of deceased the sum
of 8 pounds, 15 shillings & 4 pence, to Ziba, Honour, & Sarah the
sum of 4 pounds, 7 shillings, & 8 pence each for this being their
respective shares in their fathers real estate of buildings and
upon death of mother Sarah HUNT, the further sums as follows: viz.
to said Lemuel, 4 pounds, 7 shillings, 4 pence; to Ziba, Honour, &
Sarah - 2 pounds, 3 shillings, 8 pence each to complete their
respective shares in father's real estate. 409
